Speak Out Campaign
Campaign designed for the Speak Out Against Sexual Assault event held on the RIT campus.
The Center for Women & Gender and RIT Student Affairs put on an event that reflected April, Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This event is called "Speak Out Against Sexual Assault" and features the reading of the Stanford Letter, written by the survivor of Brock Turner's assault. It also includes speaker Pastor John Pavlovitz, as well as a Q&A session and open forum discussing sexual assault.
I chose the font League Spartan Bold for the title and headers, and Montserrat for the body copy. I also chose the color teal because that is the color for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
I created a series of campaign pieces, including a poster, an email blast, an Instagram post, and a TV piece. The posters were hung up around campus and the email blast was sent through RIT Message Center, which reaches every student. The Instagram post reached those who follow the Instagram account and the TV piece cycled through various event announcements in the RIT Campus Center.
